Why families choose us

A studio built for real progress.

01

Real technique from lesson one

Posture, hand shape, and touch built in from the start, the fundamentals that make everything easier down the road.

02

Reading + playing by ear

Students learn to read music AND to hear what they're playing. Both skills, side by side, from day one.

03

Classical, pop, or your own songs

Chopin, Coldplay, or the song you keep humming in the car. We meet students at the music that already moves them.

Inside the studio

What a lesson looks like

Consistent structure, honest feedback, and audible progress. Here's how a typical session unfolds in our Ormond Beach studio, just minutes from Daytona.

  1. 01

    Warm-up and check-in

We open with warm-ups matched to the instrument, then talk through what worked and what didn't since the last lesson.

  2. 02

    New material

The teacher introduces one focused idea, like a new chord, a hand shift, or a phrase, and models it before the student tries.

  3. 03

    Guided practice

Slow, deliberate repetition with real-time coaching. Mistakes are welcomed and used.

  4. 04

    Playback and plan

Student plays the whole piece, then leaves with a clear, doable practice plan for the week.

From families near Daytona

What our families say.

"Our 10yo son is taking weekly piano lessons with Cameron. He is doing great and really loving it. Cameron is a fantastically talented teacher who has somehow managed to get him hooked on piano in just 8 lessons. He gets up early every day and fills the house with scales, chords, arpeggios, and his weekly pieces."

, Jonathan Lynch

"My daughter Lillian (10 years old) started guitar lessons with Justin. She had zero experience. She LOVES it and is excelling! Justin is kind and extremely talented in teaching. She gets excited to go to lessons and comes out with a huge smile. Best studio around!"

, Antonia Schoembs

"Justin Knox is a very talented young man. He walked me through chords and reading music, as well as the details of the guitar. As an adult student, I was nervous about picking up an instrument but I am now pretty confident I can learn how to play the guitar."

Frequently asked

Good questions from Daytona families.

Do I need a piano at home?
A full 88-key weighted keyboard works to start. A real acoustic upright is better for anyone continuing past the first year.
How long until I can play a song?
Most beginners are playing a recognizable piece within the first month.
Do you prepare students for ABRSM / RCM exams?
Yes, a few of our teachers specialize in graded exam prep. Mention it when you reach out and we'll route you to the right instructor.
Can I take adult piano lessons?
Absolutely. A meaningful share of our piano roster is adult students, many of them starting from zero.
