Music Lessons in Daytona Beach: What to Expect at Elite Academy

Elite Academy of Music and Art has been part of the Greater Daytona Beach community for more than a decade, and our approach hasn't changed since day one: every student, whatever their spark, deserves to be taught seriously and celebrated loudly.
Who We Teach
Music lessons at Elite Academy aren't just for kids working toward a recital, though we do plenty of that. We teach:
- • Young beginners, some as young as five, taking their very first lesson
- • School-age students building consistent practice habits
- • Teens prepping for auditions, all-county, or just trying to get better at their favorite songs
- • Adults, including complete beginners, who never got the chance earlier in life
That last group matters more than people expect. Several of our students started lessons well into adulthood, nervous about picking up an instrument for the first time. They leave with real skill and real confidence, not just a hobby they dabbled in for a month.
What Instruments Can You Learn?
We offer private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, woodwinds, violin, viola, bass, cello, and drums. Lessons run 30, 45, or 60 minutes, with weekday and weekend availability, so it's easier to build lessons around your family's schedule instead of the other way around.

What Makes Lessons Here Different
A lot of studios treat lessons as a transaction: show up, play a scale, go home. That's not how we think about it.
We believe in scales practiced slowly. We trust that fumbling through a piece badly is part of eventually playing it well. Our instructors, many of whom are working performers themselves, bring real teaching experience and real stage experience to every lesson, and they know how to meet a nervous first-timer exactly where they are.
Students also get regular performance opportunities, recitals and informal showcases, so all that practice has somewhere to go besides a living room. Nothing builds confidence faster than playing in front of people who came specifically to cheer you on.
